A double chin is something a lot of people are insecure about and something most of us deal with. Genetics, loose skin and overweight are the main causes of the appearance of that extra fat and skin under our chin that bothers us so much.

Chin Lift – This one is a classic exercise that can help you train your double chin. Begin lifting your lower lip up as much as you can and start pushing your lower jaw out. As you feel the tension on your double chin, hold that position for 10-15 seconds. After that release and repeat.
Jaw Movement – moving your jaw on different directions can be great to help you get rid of your double chin. This is done quite easily by simply moving your jaw to the left and to the right and keeping the rest of your face still. Make sure you are careful when you perform this one because you can hurt your jaw.
Roll your head – Performing this exercise can actually help you in a lot of ways and one of them is the double chin. This exercise helps relieve neck pain & stiffness but also help you relax.
Changing your diet and the way you eat can help reduce a double chin if it is there because of your weight. Weight is directly correlated to the appearance of a double chin so if you want to get rid of it you must lose weight.
Cut down on fats – The most basic thing you can do that is beneficial, not only for your double chin but for your health in general, it is to cut down fats from your diet. Unhealthy fats are the enemy of weight loss and thus are besties with your double chin.
Cut down on sugars – The empty calories on table sugar can lead to weight gain and thus in a double chin. Removing sugar from your diet should be one of the first steps you take to get rid of that double chin.
Eat more fruit and vegetables – Eating more fruit and vegetables means a healthier diet. When you do that you make sure you are getting all the important vitamins and minerals your body needs to stay healthy and thus lose weight.

Other things you can do
If you are not able to work on removing your double here are some tricks to make your double chin appear smaller.
Makeup – Highlighting and contouring can go a long way. A little shading under the chin can give the appearance of a tighter and smaller chin. Make sure you are contouring with a darker and ashier shade so it seems like there is shade falling under your chin.
Clothes – What you wear can really emphasize or hide your body parts and the double chin is no exception. Turtle necks and tops that come high up your neck will emphasize your double chin and are not ideal. If you are looking to take away the attention from your double chin try wearing colorful or patterned pants, wear a hat, etc.
Standing & sitting position – The way you sit and stand determines the way you look and how people see you. If you want to make your double chin less visible try standing/sitting straight and pull your chin forward.
